For phones, you are really better off with a dedicated phone app like Amethyst or Damos. The CPUs in phones and the browsers were never designed to run web apps like desktop browsers can.

Plus, if you value your privacy and security, do not ever use a browser based client on a phone. Use the orbit tor proxy on your phone and set your phone client to use orbit as it's proxy.
