It’s a couple hours later & we’re overnighting in Flavortown now.
“Kitchen sink” stock here. Some past-their-prime mushrooms got roasted. A raw celery heart & green onions, some garlic. Some dubious kinda-freezer-burnt bacon in there.
Freezer-burned meat is fine for making stock, you know. The texture is shit, so you don’t want to serve it as dinner, but you can still roast it for stock-making.
I save my leek ends, pea shells, etc, and all of that is in here too. #cooking #food #foodwaste
