At BGG Spring last weekend I made a conscious effort not to touch my phone at all while I was playing a game. Normally my rule is "don't look until my next turn is planned; don't delay the game" but this time I completely shunned it.
And it was great! I played better, I appreciated the games more, I had more fun. I am going to try and phone less in general, I think.
