Classic case of Momma Boucher syndrome.
The Waterboy's Momma drove herself to ignorance and isolation by declaring everything she didn't understand to be "the devil!".
What is ironic about this situation is that Jesus taught his followers to love their neighbors. I don't remember seeing him say to "manipulate the power of the state to direct its legal monopoly on the use of force against your neighbors because they express reverence for the Creator using words and practices with which you're not familiar."
Most modern, mainstream Christians are hypocrites.
