Tried taking apart my laptop (which was super scary), unplugged and re-plugged in the cable for the touchpad, and it still doesn't work (and neither does Thunderbird). This is going to be super annoying to travel with, but I definitely don't have enough time to buy a new laptop before I head to the UN workshop.... yikes.
