You would dare attempt to build your future upon the 'mighty foundations of science', eh?
The 'mighty foundations of science' are but a delicate scaffolding propped upon the moving back of a Leviathan!!
And you would dare ignore the feverish beast below your feet and solely worship the rattling crossbeams of science!?
"But science has allowed Man to prosper above all of nature! Science is the path and means to all truth!" you will shout.
"Through science, Man is the measure of all things!" you say with glee and pride.
But you fail to see that your 'perfect science' is a mere tool! And you are but a blind blacksmith holding the hammer of science, waving it about to and fro without any respect for the sacred will which forged it! You have no respect for the Leviathan that drives the smiths of your science forward!
The hammer of science is a mighty hammer indeed! But it is a dead weight, or worse: a murderous weapon, without the sacred will and mighty hands of the blacksmith wielding it!
Oh yes! "Man is the measure of all things!"
On this we can agree…
But it is because God has made Man in his image, and placed a Leviathan under his feet and within his heart that Man is able to measure and hammer at all!
