Just bought food 🌮🌮🌮 with Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. Used the #hifumi app in El Salvador and primal (npub12vk…pugg) wallet.

I actually had to buy the sats via PayPal 😂⚡
Had some dollars left on Paypal but Hifumi doesn't support PayPal payments yet. However, they do accept native Lightning payments.

Now, the only way I know to convert PayPal dollars into sats is Primal. One tap and I have $5 worth of sats paid from my Paypal balance.

It's easy to get sats with strike, and other services but PayPal is usually a little more complicated.

I believe it's even more difficult to get PayPal as a processing partner when you are a small startup.

Lots of startups get rejected by banks and payment processing companies because of "risk".

Any startup that has issues with payment processors or wants to save processing fees should simply integrate Lightning payments. Hifumi did a fantastic job with their integration.

Customers can figure out how to get sats but that's a lot easier these days with apps like cashapp, strike etc.
