The older I get the more I understand why people are religious and what the value of those rituals and practices is/can be.

I am still an atheist and far from spiritual or whatever but my understanding has really evolved past my past "hero derp I am an atheist and your God isn't real" level of comprehension. It's good to broaden one's horizon.
