Yes, in fact the Japanese alphabet is a hybrid of 3 alphabets, 2 of which are phonetic and called **kana** (subdivided into **hiragana** and **katakana**), while the remaining ideographic one based on Chinese is called **kanji**.
It can be argued that Japanese is actually a hybrid of 4 different alphabets because of their frequent use of **romaji** (Latin alphabet) for English loanwords and what I can only describe as "visual onomatopoeia" (I really have no idea what they're doing with our "w").
