I came up in carpentry working for a guy who did a lot of roofs. Good learning, but in my area the typical roofing company will unleash a small army of squats and bang out a large ish house roof in a single day. they’ll have their wives and gfs on the ground picking up, and passing materials. Hard to imagine a white crew doing tgat. No real reason they couldn’t. At Least the plumbers and electricians are white.
