All that's possible, but the thing that makes me doubt the AI war scenario is that war demands competence, and that's the thing that's becoming scarcer. Or it seems... Surely I'm just not seeing some stuff.

One future I fear is coming is AI engineers disincentivizing real engineers. When tech companies find that an AI can do everything an engineer can do for cheaper, no one will become engineers, and we won't even have the ability to build the stuff the AIs are on.

Learn everything you can now. Either humans have the knowledge, or the knowledge doesn't exist.
