WFMU DJ Irene Trudel, a pro sound engineer, telling us about the techniques for mic'ing orchestras. She's working a show at Carnegie Hall tomorrow. At some venues they need to bring in outboard reverb gear for recordings, but not there, because of the amazing natural reverb.
