I know everyone seems to be hating on ordinals...
But... I found a good use for it today and tried it for the first time.
Unfortunately we just lost, very unexpectedly, our beloved "dog" two days ago. We are all devasted since she was a proper member of the family. When I was thinking what would be a good way to immortalize her then somehow ordinals came to mind. So we made a nice inscription in her memory...
I cannot explain why but when the whole process went through and I saw the inscription online... It was very emotional. That sat over there is very valuable to us now. So for better or for worse I think that ordinals has a place in the world and many good uses can come from it, not just for silly nfts.
