So this morning I was deep-diving into the dude who apparently added fake speaker profiles of women in tech who don't exist onto a conference website (presumably to make it seem more inclusive than it is) and now this. I mean this is basically a kind of catfishing and AI isn't necessary for creating fake people for all kinds of purposes, but I have a feeling it's still going to mean we'll see a lot more of them.
