Keyboard designers: I know laptop keyboards are always a compromise, but as a touch-typist who has used tiny laptops, it is *much* better for a touch typist to compromise on key *size* than it is key *location*. You can get used to keys being closer together (but in the same relative position) much faster than you can re-learn key locations.
Even though the Libretto keys were small and very close together, the fact they were generally in the same relative position made it OK to type on.
