I can't speak for the apps, but if they feel comfortable with 0Auth, then this might be the way to go, especially in observation of the new irs regulations, all custodial wallets are going to be a problem unless they maintain user account and balances information. I'm not even sure ecash can work under the guiidelines at this point.
