In my recent experience - I had only women practitioners pretty much throughout but the oncos were terrifying because I knew what they were saying was wrong. Mine is a type of lymphoma which it seems I don't have anymore! YAY! I had to refuse the evidence-free treatment that I was pretty sure would totally sicken me if not kill me. And they admitted people DIED DURING the treatment!
And so far, I was right.
