nobody ever backed us up as millennials. never were able to win people over. gen Z spent the past few years mocking us for clicks and now they went reactionary too. we have an idealistic earnestness that turns people off. yeah we're pissed but we did want things to get better. we saw the financial collapse, we knew capitalism was over many years ago. we got turned into the scapegoat somehow, the butt of the joke. yeah yeah I shouldn't complain. what, are you going to make fun of me in some kind of short form content if I do?
