The Left-wing wackos took over the gubmint in 1860. Most people were happy just going day to day.
Instead we had a war to either collect money (tarrifs) from States that had left the Union, or destroy them in every way.
The Left has always been about destruction. Its what they do. They are incapable of thyinking of new improvements. They can only complain about some problem and destroy everything in its wake.
I doubt you will see any conservatives seeking a war.
