More empirical support for my wacky theories about perceived music tempo and heart rate: I believe I am heading into my second round of COVID :( and all of a sudden I'm listening to a track I was working on and asking myself why it's so sludgy. Like, is this funeral music? What was I thinking? Oh my heart rate is up over 100. That's why.
