With the recent printer news going around, I thought I'd mention I bought a $200 Brother color laser printer over 5 years ago and am still on the demo cartridges, but I regret my purchase and wouldn't recommend it.
Don't get me wrong, it's great quality and just works and will probably last forever, but it's massive and heavy and... have you considered just not owning a printer? The UPS Store is $0.22/page for B&W, and you can just bring in a USB key with PDFs on it to print from.
