"content": "It's just not logical. Most experts are proud to have contributed to important legislation. In this case their names are already public. If they say nothing, there will be endless speculation that they were there for health reasons, because that would be the most obvious connection with the stated privacy concerns. If that's not why they were there, given that their names are known, explaining they were doing their civic duty to help with legislation would be the obvious path toward ending queries directed in their direction. Logic doesn't necessarily equal reality, but where is the flaw in this logic?",
