I recently learned that the Tex-Mex dish “Nachos” (Nachos’s Especialies) was invented by maître d'hotel Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya when the Chef was AWOL and a group of ladies arrived seeking a meal. Similarly the simple but globally popular “Caesar salad” was invented by Caesar Cardini when a party arrived at a restaurant which was about to close and almost out of ingredients.

Here at Accelerando lab we are researching the possibility of creating new culinary phenomena by abducting a popular chef and selectively torturing them.
