The "Trans" lobby is crowing about the Tickle vs Giggle judgement in Australia having implications for countries who signed CEDAW, a UN treaty from 1979.
The US (and Iran!) never signed it, and according to this UN report in 2021, the UK never incorporated it into domestic law.

I think it's more likely that CEDAW needs to be updated to eliminate any confusion. It was never intended, in 1979, to include men in Womanface as women.
