Circuit Court of Appeals sends a message to the Supreme Court and the rest of the federal judiciary —that #tfg, by delaying his trial until he could have the power to ignore or overrule any rulings against him, intends to usurp the power of the judiciary. And they thereby challenge the judiciary not to ignore or discount that threat. In other words, make the tfg political (as they already are) for the sake of justice.
