My son turns 13 today and while it's easy to miss the little kid he used to be I'm so proud and constantly astounded by his fascination with the world, his kindness, and his ~stubbornness~ perseverance. He amazes me every day. Of all his gifts, a last minute addition of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in a sort of classic binding seemed to be his favourite, apparently he's always wanted to read it.
