I have no doubt whatsoever that in the event of another pandemic, humanity will not only repeat all the mistakes of COVID 19, they will double-down on all those mistakes and invent new, even more horrific mistakes, and right-wing politicians and demagogues the world over will cheer them on. All the knowledge and wisdom in the world is defenseless against an extremely motivated minority of know-nothings.
