Too many services allow account creation without first verifying the email.
I get this a lot due to my generic gmail email. Someone created a venmo account with my email address and yesterday i got emailed that someone paid $50 into it to contribute towards pizza. It may or may nor have been transferred into a bank account - i haven't ever logged in to check - i would need to reset the password for that
Shall i just ignore it? try to tell venmo? or reset the password and close the account?
