So do you think this means it's merely a token effort on their part as opposed to the first launch of solid-state battery EVs being more of a small beta launch so they can test the technology before producing in huge numbers?
What I'm interested in (more than Toyota itself) is the development of solid-state batteries – which seem to be getting a lot of buzz lately? –and whether they will live up to the longer range/shorter charging time/fewer resources claims.
