1) Dunno, when I was a kid in the 50s were rere lucky to have a good pair of sneakers. For entertainment we went fishing (put food on the table), we went hunting (put food on the table), gardened (put food on the table), and fixed stuff. We never went on vacation. Today most people I know watch sports, listen to music or shop. My wife and I worked two jobs. I worked 7 days a week at one job. At least we could get ahead.
