Another rest day so crypto yapping it is!
No one needs 10,000 blockchains.
I sound like bernie sanders. “No one needs 23 deodorants”. Yeah, but we WANT 23 deodorants to exist so we can choose one that we like for ourselves, because there are many variables, antiperspirants or no, natural crystal or no, stick or roll-on or spray… you get the gist.
But 10,000 blockchains? Many of which are just clones of others, some are outright scams, most don’t provide utility and many cant. It’s not the same thing as the deodorants.
We could say, we just need one, but that seems wrong too for the exact same reason one deodorant doesnt work out for everyone. For Bitcoin, despite it’s store of value utility, the world needs more. It needs more flexibility, more scalability, and a wide range of utility in every market arena that exists. And to get to this, you need a bridgr. If the rule is to maintain custody… thats a non starter.
We need a way to end the bridge requirements, and a way to identify crappy projects.
