yea nah, i can't get real (big project) coding done on #macOS. i **can**, but it's an act of masochism when i could do so 10x faster on #Linux. the simplest example - when i need to update a big, complicated codebase that requires reference to multiple other codebases, it drives me insane that i couldn't just `command + tab` between windows quickly since they're windows of the same app and task switching only switches between apps 🙃

instead, you're expected to either three-finger swipe up to expose all windows and pick the one you want to have open - which isn't as easy as it sounds (if at all) since if those windows you're trying to switch between look pretty similar to each other, you'll have to hover over each one to see the window title as they're not shown otherwise.

alternatively, better, you should three-finger swipe down on the particular app (with multiple windows) which exposes all windows of only **that** app (which is a lil less clutter) then click the window you'd want to switch to. **STILL** this is too much finger gymnastics, and this gesture isn't even enabled by default so most Mac users I know don't even know of this.

this terrible mess though isn't even the worst case since this assumes you have access to a trackpad or a Mac keyboard - i can't even tell how you'd manage this without a trackpad to perform those gestures or a Mac keyboard to activate the shortcut that exposes all windows. in that case, you're probably left with right clicking on the app icon in the dock and going through the insanely cluttered context menu to find the window you wanna switch to **EVERY SINGLE TIME**.
