So they're doing the same thing with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man that they did with X-Men '97 and releasing a limited run of prequel comics that lead up to the story of the new show. But the way they're doing it is, the entire first season of the show will be out before the last issue of the comic is available and I'm starting to think #Marvel is doing this on purpose for people like me specifically and trying to kill us with anticipation.
This is the first new #Spider-Man anything that's been made by Marvel since the cartoon in the 90's, everything Spider-Man that we've seen since that time has been Sony, and the hype is real.
And of course, me being me, I'm going to do the same thing I did with #X-Men '97 and wait to watch the show until all the comics are out. So the wait is on and I will resist clicking on the new show even though it starts this week and the prequel comics won't wrap up until March.
