The house shook as the ship hovered above. Leonard could hear the planks and shingles ripping off, even without the hearing aid.
"Damn blasted thing!" Shouted Leonard. "Not Pappy's house!"
Leonard was a patient man and could handle a lot. He could handle the mutilated cattle, he could handle the crushed crops, the occasional abduction; but this was beyond the pail.
"I just got my new hardwood floors finished!"
