Samaritan’s Purse might have saved my wife’s parent’s house. There has been a large and much appreciated government presence in the rescue and recovery efforts here, but local churches have led the way in keeping most folks alive.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts, and whatever help or funding you’ve provided. The work of rebuilding Swannanoa has only just begun, and I will be back with the truck, I just don’t know exactly when.
