I have oral surgery coming up. It’ll cost somewhere between $20000 and $40000. My annual dental insurance maximum is $3000, the most expensive plan my employer offers, so in effect I don’t have insurance. If I get hit by a car, medical will cover more, so that’s always good to know.
Last thing: if you are the insurance expert at a doctor’s office, please don’t tell me my insurance covers 80% of a procedure if in fact coverage runs out around 10%. Makes you look like a scam artist.
