My take on #OJSimpson is the man was guilty, but I'm also grateful for his legal defense and how it exposed the racism of the LAPD and corruption of the legal system in Los Angeles.

If I have to choose I'd rather one guilty person go free because the cops were so racist they thought they had a slam dunk off a shoddily built case than lots of innocent people having no defense, no protection against said racist police.

And I mourn the loss of Johnnie Cochran again on this day, not OJ
