Which is to say there are more beautiful high lakes, in my experience. But the adventure was fabulous. From the lake we hiked down to Holden church camp (an old mining village) and took the camp bus to Lucerne on Lake Chelan, then the Lady of the Lake boat to the town of Chelan.",
