After a bunch of deliberation (and a couple of days enjoying our new small power station), invested in a slightly bigger solar setup. Minimum output necessary to cook on, while at the same time being the maximum size I think we could actually put to good use.

It's no rooftop solar, but it should make any infrastructure failure, general strike, etc. a lot more comfortable for us.

Next project: water. Rain collection looks easy and cheap; it's purification that's the hard and costly part...
