I have no issue with "the map is not the territory", whether it comes from Robert Anton Wilson or K. I have no issue with the strangeness of human minds, nor the shoreline fractal. My addition is around our tendency to abandon maps and shared meaning. A map is a perfectly good, useful thing to have. Tracking telemetry against goals is possible and imperative.
