Not to be outdone by X's new fee model, YouTube is starting a new crackdown on ad blockers. The message I just got suggests that maybe creators might get paid more (a lie) if i turn off my add blocker, and watch an ad or two every 2-3 minutes. That, or subscribe for ad-free.

I'll go with, "Fuck You, YouTube. I'll find my videos elsewhere from now on."
