Yeah its full on deliberate intentional. It has an uneasy nasty feel to it, yet they do it anyway. I think the only explanation is that they can't feel what we feel. Or don't feel it. If they felt what we felt, then it isn't possible to behave in such a way. They wouldn't do it. That's my only explanation that makes even the slightest sense. You could argue that they do it to achieve a certain goal no matter what the cost. But whatever way you look at it, it's a form of detachment, emotional disconnection. Nasty way to live
