I'm definitely considering a budget-friendly printer to start with, and the Ender3 is on my list. I've noticed there are so many different Ender 3 options to choose from, and since I would like to print various materials, I guess I need a model with a Direct Drive extruder. I'm still very much undecided on the print type, mostly hesitating between Creality 3D Ender 3 V2 Neo, Creality Ender-3 V3 KE, and the Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. Do you have an opinion? Which Ender 3 are you using?
I'm also interested in trying out different filaments, so I appreciate your recommendations on PLA and PETG. What's been your favorite project to print so far, and do you have any advice for a complete beginner like me?
Additionally, I've heard of FreeCAD and OpenSCAD, but I'm not familiar with SuperSlicer. Can you tell me a bit more about that?
I would prefer to buy a new one because I'm not knowledgeable enough to perhaps deal with a used one, and I can also get a tax credit on a new one, which wouldn't be possible with a used one, I guess.
