I'm doing my best to do away with any "so-called non-stick" teflon pan. They start peeling and it's a shame to have to do away with them... who wants to eat teflon...? Not me.
We've used cast iron grill pan for couple of years now. Simple to clean and I use an old knife to scrape off "hard bits" while heating to drain off extra oils... Then other than that plastic scrubby, and only very occasionally have to add new oil.
That sold me on getting these pans back into cooking order.
