Woot! It's the final stretch before my 50K.
Instability of my hips has been an ever-present feature of running, for me. And it's flaring up again now. My battle plan is concentrate my efforts on strengthening the muscles around the SI joint (McGill's Big-3, banded clamshells, hip adduction and abduction isometric exercises) and wear a greater trochanter belt during the run. If I think the juice is worth the squeeze, I'll get out to do a short progression run tomorrow. #running #trailrunning
