Devs can't control what software you run on your computer. That is how Monero was created to begin with. The community didn't agree with the devs and left. If you don't agree with an upgrade that devs and the community both agree on, you can fork or swap out to a crypto that more aligns with what you want and no one can stop you either.

What you really want is guarantee of a ticker symbol

Every transaction I make on Bitcoin makes me poorer than I would have been if I made that transaction on Monero.

Lightning is mostly custodial and centralized, whirlpool doesn't exist anymore, joinmarket is vulnerable to sybil attacks, ecash is custodial, paynyms leave metadata on the blockchain with it's notification transaction.

Most Bitcoiners don't run nodes either. It was always going to be that way. Maybe you don't understand how Monero works. Even using a malicious node they still can't see how much Monero you sent or who received it. Every situation you listed is 100x worse privacy if done with Bitcoin. So Monero is still a strict improvement even in those scenarios.
