Here in the US it's a common belief that technology will save us from #climatechange. What's usually meant by this is a deus ex machina in the form of bazinga-brained tech like fusion/vat-grown meat/direct-air carbon capture. I contend technology has *already* saved us from climate change. We have all the technology we could ever need to solve this crisis. Ship, rail, solar, wind, biofuels, etc. We just aren't building it. It isn't a technological problem.
