The "Digital Museum of Planetary Mapping" is an initiative by a Hungarian university to offer a #digital #archive of all historical planetary #maps, dating as far back as the 1600s, when telescopic views of the moon & planets made it possible to map surface features of other worlds, albeit with less detail & precision than today.
