I am listening to the seagull fledglings at 1:30 am, crying to their parents for food. They have left the nest but not the neighborhood. Mom and dad are exercising tough love. In the next day or so, a group of gulls will come out of nowhere and chase them from the rooftop toward resources. It's the last communal act before it's every bird for themselves. #Birds #Gulls
