It is a most anarchic region, most notably it is the region that was earmarked for bombings, back when USA was still in Afghanistan. The stories people have are harrowing, so many innocents killed, schools, homes, all bombed. Our own government and army is complicit, of course, they would falsely label civilian casualties terrorists.
